During the month of November, The Bay School is holding an online auction of art and travel opportunities and selling tickets for a wonderful collection of theatre-related objects.

In 2020, Artists Sunday was created to support artists and encourage people to buy art as gifts during the holidays.

Uniting artists and communities across the country, Artists Sunday promotes giving something special, unique, and handcrafted this holiday season, while supporting your local economy.

The Bay School Holiday Pop-Up Market and Made in Mathews Studio Tour both run concurrently with Artists Sunday, so opportunities to shop local artists abound!

Margaret's vivacious style of painting everything from sunflowers to sailboats delights the eye. Her work will be on display in the Art Speaks Gallery thru December.

This month's Artist of the Month is Peggy Shifflett. Peggy works primarily in ceramics creating whimsical and highly detailed hand-built pieces inspired by nature and her imagination.

Mark your calendar to join us for this event to enjoy some tasty soups served in handcrafted bowls. All proceeds go to support Hands Across Mathews.

Submission opens December 1, 2024 for The Bay School's 12th Annual Art Speaks Juried Exhibition.

Art Speaks Gallery is currently seeking submissions for Fantastic Fiber! to be on display January 31-February 24. This show takes a diverse look at all forms of fiber art.

The Bay School in partnership with the Mathews County 250 Committee is soliciting proposals from artists interested in creating LOVEworks signs to be installed at Callis Wharf and Williams Wharf. Deadline for design proposals is January 25, 2025.
